A dark and terrifying world as seen through eyes of a sociopathic teenager living in a town with a demon on the lose. The story pulls no punches as it makes you empathise with a dangerous state of mind while simultaneously making you question your own sanity. A rewarding albeit dark and disturbing read that will definitely makes one feel uncomfortable.
To say more would be to spoil the book. If you enjoy crime thrillers, and/or urban fantasy, I think you should give this book a try. There are others in the series but I haven’t read them as of yet. That has more to do with crime thrillers not really being my preferred genre than anything else.
